AI governance for an early-stage startup

A lightweight approach: list, assign, review, record.

Pending professional review. Starter text. This page requires final review by Govind Preet Singh (and any other appropriate professional) before production launch.

Start with a list

Write down every AI model or AI-enabled service your product or team uses. This is an AI register.

Assign an owner

For each item, name who is accountable, what data it sees and who checks its outputs.

Test and record

Try your AI with realistic and difficult inputs, note what goes wrong and how you fixed it. The record is your evidence.

Standards

ISO/IEC 42001 is an AI management system standard. Readiness support helps you prepare; certification is separate and issued only by accredited bodies.

Your idea should not wait for the perfect team.

Start with the right capability system. TheEntOS Assessment takes about 15 minutes and gives you a ranked plan.
