Privacy Notice
What we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Starter text for review.
What we collect
Only what is needed to respond to you: the details you type into our forms (for example name, email, phone, organisation, and your message), and for TheEntOS Assessment, your answers and the resulting report if you choose to send them.
We also record the page you submitted from and any campaign tags in the link you used (UTM parameters), so we know which enquiries came from where.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry or proposal request.
- To discuss your UERF result, if you send it.
- To improve the website and our materials, in aggregate.
We do not sell your information. We do not send assessment answers to analytics.
TheEntOS Assessment and your browser
Your answers are scored on our server without being stored. If you tick “Save my progress”, they are also kept in your browser’s local storage on your device so you can return. You can delete them at any time from the assessment start page or by clearing site data. If you choose to send your result, the submission is stored on our server, and only a reference is passed to any connected notification or CRM service.
Cookie and analytics notice
This website does not set advertising cookies. It uses browser storage only for the optional saved assessment progress, a session note that you have acknowledged the legal-information notice, and remembering campaign tags for the session. If analytics is enabled, it will be configured to avoid collecting assessment answers, and this notice will be updated.
IP address and browser details
When you submit a form or send an assessment result, we record the IP address and browser details of the device that sent it, together with the time. We use them only to protect the site and our users, for example to investigate spam, abuse or a security incident, and to detect repeated or fraudulent submissions. They are kept for 90 days and then deleted from the submission record. Startup sessions that are opened but never receive any information are removed automatically after 3 days, and the incubator that issued the link is told. Web-server logs, which also contain IP addresses, are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Your startup portal and incubators
If you send your assessment result or submit a startup application, it is saved in the IPMahir Capability Scan system, which runs on govindpreetsingh.com. This creates a startup record (your profile, founders, answers, scores and findings) and, for assessments, a portal account. We email you from that system, including a link to set your own password. If you arrived through an incubator’s referral link (a link containing a code), that incubator is linked to your record and can see it in its dashboard. You can ask us to delete your record.
Where and how long
Submissions are stored on our servers in a restricted location. Retention period: to be confirmed by the site owner (suggested default: delete enquiries that do not lead to engagement after 12 months). Ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by writing to us through the contact form.
Security
We limit access, use secure transmission, and avoid sending sensitive assessment detail by ordinary email. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes
We will update this notice if our practices change.
